Process
I have one goal and one goal only: to help you create the most compelling story possible.
I am available to work with studios, production companies and individuals to develop and repair stories and scripts and to help evaluate film projects.
If you are interested in my services, please contact me to set up a brief call so we can determine if we are a fit and if our schedules are a match.
If you’re in production or a situation where your project needs immediate attention, indicate that in the form and I will do my best to work with you. I will contact you by phone to briefly talk about where you are with your project and how I can best help and when I can be available.
If we do decide to work together, I’ll have you send me your script. Before our next meeting I will have read your pages line by line, pondered your story deeply and will have created a list of critical points to guide our discussion. Then we’ll meet via Zoom (or in person if you care to fly me to your tropical island) for about 60 minutes.
I don’t provide written notes or written analysis. I’ve found it to be a waste of time and believe that to arrive at a set of conclusions early on and enshrine them in a report limits us from moving to the next level of discovery, invention and insight that can happen in our live discussions (which I will record for you.)
You will then apply whatever you find useful to the clarification, deepening and development of your story/script and we’ll have a 60-minute follow-up meeting where I’ll give you my feedback, answer any new questions you may have, lay out next steps for you to complete or repair your script or create a plan for us to continue working together.
